In a world dominated by the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we all need a break. A chance to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The name of this portal is not accidental. Although I grew up in Tomaszów Lubelski and now live in a big city, whenever I can, I escape to Roztocze. It's my place on earth where I can relax the fastest. I want to share with you 5 reasons why you should choose Roztocze for your getaway.

Few people, lots of peace: Autumn, winter, and spring are the perfect times to visit Roztocze. There are practically no tourists then. You can enjoy solitary walks and the silence that encourages reflection. Even in summer, although there are slightly more tourists, it's still nothing compared to the crowds in Mazury or the Tatra Mountains. You will find many trails where you will only meet the sound of trees and birdsong.

The scent of the forest that heals: Studies have shown that there is more iodine in the forests of Roztocze than by the sea. Although we cannot see it with the naked eye, we can feel its effect. The scent of sun-warmed fir forests and damp moss is incredibly relaxing. Everyone will find their favorite scent of nature here.

Active recreation for everyone: Roztocze is a paradise for lovers of active recreation. You can go for a hike, bike ride, kayak, or simply relax by the river. The popular Green Velo route runs through the region, but there are also many other, less frequented trails where you can enjoy peace and the beauty of nature.

A landscape that takes your breath away: Roztocze is a land of extraordinary contrasts. Rolling hills, deep valleys, vast forests – everyone will find something for themselves. It's hard to believe that such a beautiful landscape was created as a result of the activity of glaciers and erosion. My favorite views are the colorful fields that form picturesque patterns on the slopes.

Weather that favors relaxation: Roztocze is one of the sunniest regions in Poland. In summer, you can count on beautiful weather and long, warm days. Winter, on the other hand, tempts with snow that covers everything around with white fluff. You can then go sledging or skiing.
